This is little miss Stella. She was having a very difficult time nursing due to a significant lip and tongue tie. Because the movement of her lip and tongue were so restricted, she was unable to form an adequate latch and feed effectively. Nursing was difficult for Stella and painful for her mother. We were able to use a soft tissue laser to correct the lip and tongue tie and now both Stella and her mother are doing much better. That looks like the relaxed face of a full tummy!
